Duties:
- Patient Assessment: Triage and perform initial evaluations of patients to determine urgency and severity
- Emergency Care: Provide immediate stabilization and life-saving interventions (e.g., airway management, CPR, trauma care).
- Diagnostic Support: Order and interpret tests (bloodwork, X-rays, CT scans) to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and specialists to deliver coordinated care.
- Patient Education: Explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care to patients and families.
- Documentation: Accurately record patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in medical records.
- Emergency Response: Participate in Code Blue and other critical situations to resuscitate or stabilize patients.
- Patient Flow: Ensure efficient patient throughput and manage discharge or transfer as needed.
Requirements:
- ETEK & Resus Training
- At least 1 + years experience in ED.
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Bachelor of Nursing
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
